Why Choose Vlieseline Interfacing?
Previously known as Vilene, Vlieseline is globally recognised as the number one choice for interfacing and wadding product.
For the past 60 years, Vlieseline has become the professional's choice for high quality interfacing products. Vlieseline interfacing is suitable for everyone's projects, whether you are a sewing enthusiast or professional tailor or dressmaker.
This Vlieseline fusible medium-weight interfacing fabric is a fantastic quality iron-on interfacing for projects requiring additional stability and available in H250/305 White and H250/327 Charcoal colour ways.
As a medium-weight interfacing, this is an easy to apply, stable fusible backing for many of our cotton fabrics and provides extra stability for projects that require firm interfacing. This can include anything from fusible interfacing for bag making, storage boxes to apparel pieces such as belts, waistbands and cuffs.
Why Choose Fusible Interfacing?
Vlieseline fusible iron-on interfacing is very simple to apply and use, compared to sew-in interfacing. Fusible interfacing is suitable for most projects and will enhance the results of your finished piece. It is perfect on most fabrics, except on those that do not respond well to heat or are woven so loosely that the glue can seep through.
To apply your Vlieseline interfacing, simply use an iron on low heat to help the adhesive side of the interfacing permanently bond to your fabric in a matter of seconds.
What Weight Interfacing Should Be Used?
As a guide, you should choose an interfacing weight that is the same weight as the fabric you will be using, or ideally slightly lighter. The manufacturer recommends to test a small piece of interfacing on your fabric, before applying to the rest of your project.
