Over the past 60 years, Vlieseline has built its excellent reputation on providing high quality interfacing products to professional studios, tailors and dressmakers, to become the number one choice for interfacing today. Vlieseline interfacing is used by everyone from sewing enthusiasts to professional tailor and garment studios. Our Vlieseline G700 fusible interfacing fabric is a great, high quality iron-on interfacing, available in white and black colour ways. As a heavy-weight fusible interfacing, this is a versatile, easy to apply iron-on backing for many of our fabrics and will work well for a whole host of items that require additional support.
Why Choose Fusible Interfacing?
Vlieseline fusible interfacing is easy to use, making it appealing to all makers. Simply use an iron on low to warm heat to help the adhesive side of the interfacing permanently bond to your fabric. This quick and simple application makes Vlieseline fusible iron-on interfacing very straight-forward to use, compared to sew-in interfacing. Fusible interfacing is suitable for most uses and most fabrics, aside from those that do not respond well to heat or are loosely woven so that the glue can seep through. Always check the pattern instructions for your project to see which interfacing is recommended.
What Weight Interfacing Should Be Used?
It is recommended that you use an interfacing weight that is the same weight as the fabric you will be using, or ideally slightly lighter. The manufacturer suggests testing a small piece of interfacing on your fabric, before continuing with the rest of your project.
