You can select from four weight options. Whether you need heavy fusible interfacing or lightweight fusible interfacing you will be able to find the right type for your project.
Why Choose Fusible Interfacing?
Fusible interfacing is by far the easiest type of interfacing to use, as opposed to sew-in interfacing. You use an iron to permanently bond the interfacing to the fabric; the iron will help the adhesive side of the interfacing permanently bond to the fabric. Fusible interfacing is suitable for most uses and will enhance your project. It is perfect on most fabrics, except on those that do not respond well to heat or are woven so loosely that the glue can seep through.
What weight interfacing should be used?
As a guide, you should choose a weight that is the same weight as your main fabric, or ideally slightly lighter. If your fabric is medium-weight, choose our medium-weight interfacing. The manufacturer recommends testing a small amount of interfacing on a piece your chosen fabric, before proceeding with the rest of the work.
