Calico is a plain-woven fabric made from unbleached and unshrunken cotton. The fabric features cotton seeds within the weave. Calico is a highly versatile fabric and ideal for many uses in dressmaking, craft & furnishing projects.

Available in 2 weights:
– Light-weight calico: 123 gsm
– Medium–weight calico: 165 gsm.

Multiple orders will be sent as a continuous length. e.g. to receive 1.5 metres, please add a metre and a half metre. We will ensure you receive a continuous length!

Washing & Care Instructions

– Our manufacturer advises that calico loomstate fabric will shrink by around 10% on first wash and up to a further 3% on subsequent washes.

– Wash at 30 degree machine wash and cool tumble dry.

– We strongly recommend testing a small piece first to be sure.
