Dylon salt is great when used with Dylon dyes.

Salt is a catalyst in the dyeing process and helps to achieve long lasting and intense results. 

For dyes that don't already contain salt, such as Hand Dyes, simply measure out the required amount in accordance with the instructions detailed in each pack.
