The Japanese embroidery technique of Sashiko 'little stabs' is a growing trend amongst fashion upcycling and modern embroidery. Wonderful for covering up rips and stains, or just for adding decorative detail to fashion and interior makes. It is easy to do, requires little experience, but is highly effective. Use a template such as this to produce traditional Japanese patterns.
